Bosch Rexroth AG is an engineering firm based in Lohr am Main in Germany. It is the result of a merger on 1 May 2001 between Mannesmann Rexroth AG and the Automation Technology Business Unit of Robert Bosch GmbH, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH. Bosch Rexroth employs over 31,000 people worldwide, and achieved total revenue of 5.4 billion euro in 2015.

A former product engineer mentioned, "Despite having excellent annual reviews and overall being a high achieving employee I had a horrible time working at Bosch Rexroth. The management and HR are chauvinistic and rude. Underpaid, no opportunity for advancement, regularly sexually harassed by co workers, boss, and sales reps. HR did nothing"

Current Employee - Sales says

"Quality, innovation, delivery, marketing, products behind the times"

Former Employee - Mechanical Assembly says

"Will hire you as a temp ( low pay )and do everything not to hire you. Perfect attendance, good work ethic, give it your all and they only want cheap labor. When they do hire you, because you are an outstanding team member they pay you less than you make as a temp. I would have loved to stay there but if I can earn more at McDonalds why would I stay?"

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"A great disparity between hourly and salary workers No consistency of their policies and how they are implemented, seem to be made up as they go No diversity in their management, all middle age dinosaurs with no innovation or respect for woman Difficult to get even the most mundane task done due to lack of communication and understanding between and within departments Their most difficult customers are their employees, very poor moral Definitely a "good old boys" mentality"

"Too much overhead. Pay is not great. Rules change constantly some people seem to get special treatment."

"Not follow ethical standards Dont address issues and promotes the same people Bad working climate and moral Short term focus Follows decisions made abroad to please management"

Assembler/Tester says

"Non Profit company that relocates major departments to other parts of the country every few years. No stability as far as jobs longevity goes. Managers in place that will intentionally allow losses to occur to meet US non profit standards. Human Resources are company driven and has informed managers/personal within the company who filed complaints about them. Managers run personal very poorly in many cases, will place temp workers in higher pay promotional jobs as to not keep company employee salaries down."

Former Employee - Assembler says

"Serious issues going on between Bosch and Rexroth. Employees are suffering. Be aware of next 3-4 years. Race is a big factor."

says

"Accounting department fairly incompetent overall."

"Very few good people, discriminating culture, significant limits to training and development despite superior performance reviews, uncompetitive pay. Overall the message has been, "just be glad you have a job" future prospects declining and unsubstantiated initiatives waste time and money."

Former Employee - Sales Associate says

"Poor leadership, lack of educated staff, gossip and misinformation rewarded by GM and managers. No managers of colour in technical and sales departments."

Control Panel Assembler (Current Employee) says

"I am sick of being harassed for being disabled, I'm on a sick leave and got the lowest possible amount they could give me, I think I've been forced to live off of 45% of my wage, I hope I die in my sleep I never wanted to work for fake people like that. People there are threatened if you do a good job or are efficient, so if you are a lazy they will like you, if you make mistakes on purpose and laugh at others who struggle you will have lots of friends there."

Quality Inspector/Assembler (Former Employee) says

"Started as temp, was hired after 2 months. Went from weekly pay to biweekly with NO PAY INCREASE. I LOST MONEY GETTING HIRED ON! Worked 28 out of 30-31 days a month. THAT'S THEIR WORK SCHEDULE. Management is lazy as wellPaid lunch7-6-5 work schedule, no life balance"

Product Engineer (Former Employee) says

"Despite having excellent annual reviews and overall being a high achieving employee I had a horrible time working here. The management and HR are chauvinistic and rude. Underpaid, no opportunity for advancement, regularly sexually harassed by co workers, boss, and sales reps. HR did nothing"

"top managers who stayed at bosch rexorth in Hoffman estates has left due to the Germany managment. this company really sucks. low salary and bad culture.nothing. if you are a qualified engineer I recommend NOT to work for themcons is everything about them"

Financial Analyst/Internal Controls (Former Employee) says

"I hated working there. Company doesn't support the employees. The business is in trouble of shutting down and no advancement opportunities."

former worker (Former Employee) says

"This place has no room for advancement if you are not the right complexion for the connection!!!! of course everyone comes through HTI staffing for 90 days, but some employees move from shift to shift and machine before their 90days through the staffing is over!!! each machine is more money and others who were there before are left behind especially on the rail line. just a bunch of SNAKES!!!!! management will not protect the workers and don't respect individuals who have education, they will suppress anyone who gets in their way. if you just want a check, stand on your feet, wear a uniform and don't have any ambition this is the place for you. the pay is ok if you cannot do any better. Persons of color need not apply because you will be stuck at the bottom of everything w/o any advancement. only if you have a degree will you even be considered.if you live in SC close drivenowhere to advance to"

Hydraulic Assembler (Former Employee) says

"Stay away at all costs! Management does not care about their employees, and it's next to impossible to advance without sucking-up to management. If you're looking for just a job and not a career, this is the place.NoneTerrible management"

Hydraulic pump tester (Former Employee) says

"The job itself was not bad, but the supervisors are very racist and have no clue how things are run. I had to bust my butt for less money while others stood around and did nothing for more moneyConstant workBad supervisors"

Machinist (Current Employee) says

"The pay is the only good part about the facility. Management has no idea what they are doing, they don't even come out of the offices to look st the floor. They LADY in charge of HR only wants to fire people. The machining supervisors are not even Machinist O they don't even understand what a Machinist says. Facility is dangerous 3rd worst in North America out of every bosch facility. Benefit are good and bad. Health insuranceis horrible. Dental is extremely good tho. Though a company of this size would have there act together but I was proven wrong. Training is not existent, don't think they know what training is.Dental insurance, payManagers, supervisors, working conditions, 12hr shifts."

Material Handler/Forklift Operator (Current Employee) says

"I have seen fist fights in here[ p.s they still work here management looked over it]. also i just witnessed a team lead get very irate with another employee while the supervisor /manager was there the supervisor had to break up the altercation. And being that it came from a team leader that is the supervisors friend nothing happend. the other employee was in the wrong. everyone knows what happens with a buddy systemNoneNone"

Produktionsmitarbeiter (Former Employee) says

Gute BezahlungKein festvertrag"

Zerspanungsmechaniker (Former Employee) says

"Die sch..kommt immer von oben , sagt man ja. Und ist auch wirklich so. Mitarbeiter mit alten Verträgen werden gezielt gemoppt und versetzt. 16 Jahre war ich dabei , am Ende konnte ich nicht schnell genug von der Firma raus. Vorgesetzte unter aller , mob. pur. Bei Krankheitsfällen werden Mitarbeiter vom Personal Büro ( Anita Förder ) zu den Arbeitern nach Hause geschickt .umkontrollieren"

Machine operator (Former Employee) says

"We put hydralic Housing for farm equipment. Iworked on an assemble line and also, I worked on a test stand to make sure the parts were completegave uniforms to wear.we had healthcare and breaks"

Customer Service Associate (Former Employee) says

"Management knows nothing about leading or developing their employees. Favoritism runs rampant. Human Resources is callous and unhelpful. When you try to ask HR something, you are referred to call the corporate HR office. The company does not promote diversity at all. The status quo is to be a white male. The morale is terrible. Management does not care about addressing concerns and making things better. They make you feel you should be grateful for having a job and just do the work. That is no way to motivate your employees."

Quality Inspector (Current Employee) says

"the work is easy, but the hours schedule is ridicules, worked 7,6,5 schedule meaning that you only get three days of a month, Then on short notice was thrown to 12hrs nights."

Plant Electrician (Former Employee) says

"My fellow workers were great, my immediate manager was great, the job paid well and was good, upper management and HR was terrible, many were hired the same time as me and layoffs to the tune of over 25 percent were announced only months later. I'm sure upper management knew already but they allowed the hiring to go on...truly rotten!"
